Here is a list of things that makes Stylet File Manager different:
Multiple Document Interface
In other words: the ability to have as much View-Windows as you want. Have you noticed we always use expresion "View-Windows" instead of "View-Panels"? "View Windows" can be resized, tiled , cascaded , shaded , minimized and maximized, while "View-Panels" can't. That's Stylet "multiple windows-view" interface intead of "dual-panel-view" or "multi-panel-view".
Unseen Drag & Drop.
Besides drag & drop files onto standard places ( such as 'File Views' etc. ) you can drag & drop files onto buttons, Adress/Folder Fields etc. For example: Droping files onto 'Go Back' , 'Go Forward' , 'Go Up' , 'Go Home' , 'Favorites' will do the same thing as moving/copying files onto those places. Wheither it's gonna be copying or moving , it's up to you and Options window.
Droping files onto 'Use Explorer Pop-Up Menu' button will show it's properties and Droping files onto 'View as' button will open that file in 'File View'-er. We claim that THERE IS NO FILE MANAGER IN THE WORLD WHICH CAN HANDLE THAT MUCH DRAGING AND DROPPING AROUND!!!
This feature , besides all those advantages of easiness with drag & drop , makes interface a lot cleaner because every button window or thing occupies space for one thing and does two or three jobs.
Stylet File Manager can support all kinds of popular archiving/packing formats (12 of them) . It also can browse them like directories...

Second utility is Search-trough-archives tool. Only thing it does is to search for files which are put in archives on your computer. This can get very usefull from time to time, but not much more often...
